Genesis 4:1-15 | 1 Corinthians 15:1-10 | Luke 18:9-14

We come to Divine Service because God has promised to be there, in Absolution and Supper, with His mercy. On this day, we learn one of the principal prayers of the disciple: "God, be merciful to me a sinner!" (Luke 18:9-14). That prayer is the sum and substance of our life.
