Lower School Open House Program
As we celebrated Reformation Day last Friday, Immanuel Lutheran School welcomed current parents, grandparents, and friends at a Lower School Open House program.
Guests were invited to experience lessons, observe recitations, and view projects completed and presented by Lower School students.
The morning began with an Open House format, where guests had the opportunity to visit classrooms, view classroom journals, talk with the teacher, and view examples of students' work from the first quarter of the school year.
After the informal session, guests were invited to remain in the classroom to observe a lesson. These included a Jr. Kindergarten math lesson, a Kindergarten calendar and phonogram session, 1st grade reading groups, a math lesson in 2nd grade, and a 3rd grade science and history discussion on volcanoes.
Enjoy our Kindergarten students performing for their visitors our Hymn of the Year, "I Bind unto Myself Today!"
Thank you to all our parents, grandparents, family and friends who were able to join us for this program. Watch for additional Open House programs throughout the year!
